6.2 Problems due to Exposure to High Level of Noise
Exposure to high noise level for a long time can result in various health symptoms among workers such as fatigue, distraction, and difficulty in communication and may also affect a person’s behaviour, temperament and working efficiency4. Furthermore, high noise can also cause physiological features like breathing amplitude, blood pressure, heartbeat rate, pulse rate, blood cholesterol. It also effects the sleeping of the person thereby inducing the people to become restless and loose concentration and presence of mind during their routine.
